Protein Pancakes-Dani Durban Recipe
Hey Guys and Gals,
I hope you have had a fantastic new year so far! We are only 5 days in as of now and I wanted to share with you a simple recipe from my friend Dani Durban aka: @bloom.mmmm to help keep you on track with your fitness and health goals.
Starting off the day with something loaded with sugar and insulin spiking ingredients is never a good idea, as it will lead directly to craving more sugar and a lack of energy. Getting enough protein in a day is also a challenge for most of us and if you are going into the new year with weight loss goals it is going to be super important that you keep your protein intake at adequate levels as when you are in a calorie deficit you want to make sure you are burning off fat and not all that hard earned muscle(even for the ladies)

· 1 scoop of protein powder
· ½ cup of natural oats
· ½ tsp of baking powder
· 2 egg whites
· 2 bananas
· blend all ingredients together to make the batter
· CALORIES: 88
· CARBS: 14 G
· PROTEIN: 7 G
· FAT: 1 G
Suggested Toppings-Any fresh berries, real maple syrup(not corn syrup flavored with maple), natural peanut butter, sliced bananas.
